Very nice family lead hotel with superb rustic kitchen. Cosy family room with large bathroom. Awesome breakfast and very friendly staff.

Tiny hotel (5 rooms) with a family feel. My dinner in the restaurant downstairs was really good (try the half duck). The room was quite simple but clean, bed was comfy, bathroom seemed brand new. Availability of an EV charger (even two) was a big plus for me (many hotels in Germany still haven't got any chargers).

We stayed in a family room at Neumanns Waldschänke for one night when travelling through Germany on the A7. The check-in was convinent via a code from the outside as the rest of the establishment (restaurant) was closed on the Monday we arrived. The family room was spacious with a double bed and a bunk bed in a separate room. The bathroom was modern and good in size. We appreciated the complimentary sparkling waters and the room amplifier that could be used to play your own music. The breakfast was good, and the staff offered us freshly made Cappuccinos and scrambled eggs. Our kids used the playroom and the playground for a short time before we had to had to get back on the road again. We would be happy to stay at Neumanns Tavern again when travelling through Germany, maybe next time to visit the nearby amusement park.
