Doeloerkoe means "our family" and that is truly how everyone who works here makes you feel. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed by friendly faces until the moment we all hugged goodbye. They offer wonderful breakfast food, constant tea or coffee if you like it, and an excellent list of local activities to be seen. I only stayed for a couple of nights, but if I were to return to Solo it would mostly be to stay here with these people again. The rooms are comfortable with good AC and wet room, all very clean. It's a lovely design in the main area and very nice to sit and enjoy during the mornings and evenings. In terms of location it doesn't take long by Grab to get around the city, and there are places and restaurants that are even within walking distance.

The location, the building, the food, the ambience, the staff—everything about it was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay there. We were made to feel like part of the family. We would definitely go again. Highly recommended!

Everyone says this but this was one of our favourite stays over our 6 month travels. The staff were so extremely kind, funny and helpful, it did feel like family no joke! The room was tall, clean and rustic. They helped us rent a bike which was super easy and they helped us with a free covering to visit the mosques. Breakfast was delicious, local food available and eggs on toast available. Coffee and tea free throughout the day, the staff were always offering it! The best bit was the staff were always around to help and have a nice funny conversation
