We were stranded because of a car hire breakdown and the staff were marvelous in facilitating our arrival at 2:45 AM! The room was comfortable, a bottle of water was provided, and it was delightful to have such a comfortable bed after a difficult 12 hours.

Historic location with prior TV fame adding to the charm. Decor and environment was lovely inside and out. Car park large and easy to access. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.
