It was a good stop off point and what we needed for literally sleeping before continuing our long journey and it was dog friendly. Upstairs was very warm but was like a studio so was good for 2 couples. Parking and garden good for dog. It had 2 toilets.

Very good value for money and in a lovely quiet rural spot, but close to all that Birmingham has to offer. Breakfast was not included but there was a small kitchen if you wanted to make breakfast and a Co-op about a mile away to buy food. I would recommend this as a good place to stay.

This little cottage is on a country lane, the garden is secure for dogs, but not if they have a tendency to jump as fencing is about 3½ foot high but does have netting also. Ample parking for 2 - 3 cars on your own part of the driveway with large wooden gate.The bathroom, toilets & kitchen were spotless, bedding clean & extremely comfortable decent quality memory foam mattresses. You enter through patio doors into a nice sized living area with 2 sofas and an armchair plus a dining table for 6. There is a downstairs toilet with sink. The first bedroom is at the other end of this room and is large with 2 nicely sized wardrobes, a sofa double bed, a bedside table, and a lamp. Upstairs is another living area with a closed log fire sofa and arm chair, to the left is the other small bedroom with the same kind of bed, storage is shelving & adjoining bathroom with shower & bath with a selection of toiletries available. There is no door on this bedroom but as the bed isn't in view it's not really an issue. At the other end is the kitchenette, which for its small size is very well equipped & the tea, coffee & sugar pots were all full for our use. There was free wi-fi, which worked very well, and an amazon fire stick in the big tv downstairs. The owners were very friendly & live onsite in the adjoining property. Nothing was too much trouble. All passwords ect were sent in an email before arrival. There are canals very close by for nice long walks with the dogs. All in all we really enjoyed our stay & will definitely go again.
