The owner Yoo was incredibly helpful and his recommendations were greatly appreciated. The hostel was well looked after and had useful amenities. The proximity to the bus station was very convenient.

Such a lovely hostel. Yoo was fantastic. He was so welcoming, informative and helpful. If I am ever back in Sokcho, this is where I will stay again.

I have been to hostels all over the world but the house hostel is the best I've ever stayed at. Yoo was unbelievably welcoming - he was extremely responsive ahead of my arrival and then spent time sharing more about the hostel and the best spots in the town and surrounding area to visit once I arrived. I immediately felt at home. The hostel itself is well located - right on public transport links, around the corner from the market and a stones throw from the pavilion overlooking the beach. The room was clean, bathroom big and comfortable bed. Couldn't ask for more!
