Location is great! Few minutes from Vitosha boulevard. Bust restaurant next door but you dnt hear inside your room.

I spent seven nights at the hotel, and for a city stay, it's what you would expect. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet, shabby but stylish street (as most of the streets seem to be). St George is very close to the NDK metro station and the Vitosha pedestrian mall. It's a few hundred meters to the nearest 24hr convenience store and coffee. The room was reasonably large. Minibar, fridge, kettle, hair dryer, safe, extra pillows and blankets, and basic toiletries are provided. The air-conditioning worked well but the fan was noisy. The mattress was firm but the pillows a bit soft. I didn't turn on the TV. There are sockets by the bed. The bathroom is also quite large. Hot water comes quickly and the pressure is good. I did have an issue with a leaking bathroom sink tap which resulted in the bathroom floor pooling with water. I had to report this on a couple of occasions before it seemed any note was taken. By the time I checked out, the matter still hadn't been attended to, although I had found a workaround fix. The staff are neither friendly nor cold. The room was serviced daily, but sheets and towels not changed. Breakfast is an ample spread, in addition to the usual continental offerings, there are a few warm choices of eggs, bacon bits, and cheese toast. For the price, the stay was OK. Secure, clean, brown-grey tones throughout, it's the kind of hotel you can find anywhere, and there's really nothing wrong with that.

I had a wonderful stay at St. George Hotel in Sofia. The hotel arranged an airport transfer for me on my arrival day, which was a very nice gesture. I got a large and spacious room with a kitchenette, minibar, sitting area and a balcony with a place to sit and enjoy the fresh air of Sofia. The room was cleaned and organized every day. Breakfast was standard but definitely sufficient. The hotel is located right in the city center, just a couple of streets from Vitosha Street and Sofia Center, a beautiful pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafés. The metro station is also very close. I will definitely stay here again.
