Very good 3 stars hotel , 2 minutes from city center, rooms and bathroom are clean , I recommend because it's a cheap price and exelant location

Rila is in the heart of Sofia. You can reserve a private parking spot for extra fee which is very convinient. We were in the old part of the hotel , but it was very clean and the stuff were very polite and helpfull. Every spot if tou want to discover and explore the city is on palm of your hand. The breakfast is continental and the architecture is so from social period and it is like time capsule, while the new part is renovated and very chick. The terrace is also great.

The location was excellent, close to all the main sights. The room was comfortable, clean and the room we got had an impressive view of the Vitosha mountain. We got the renovated room.

This hotel occupies a truly fabulous location in the heart of Sofia, making it a solid choice for a short stay of one or two nights. While I recommend it for its central positioning, the pricing should be adjusted downward, particularly for the unrenovated rooms. Even the renovated options are merely decent rather than exceptional. Breakfast was good - normal
