Overall, a very good stay. While the hotel is a little dated in style, the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable — exactly what I needed for a short city break. The location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the main squares and easy to get around from. A highlight was breakfast at Café 1920, which had been on my list to visit, so having it included was a nice bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was great to be able to leave my suitcase after check-out to make the most of my last day.

A lovely hotel. Clean well equipped room. Great choice of breakfast dishes at the cafe next door. Sofia is very walkable. The centre is about 20 minutes walk away. The staff were helpful.

Just spent one night there after a late flight, but a nice clean and comfortable hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Room was very large with a view out over the Lion Bridge. Breakfast included was in gorgeous cafe next door; 1920. Food was excellent and service very nice. When we return to Sofia we will use The Lion again.
