The staff was amazing theodor and other gus theodor and elan the hostel very near to everything especially transport was easy to catch , small problems in the rooms with people they snoring but I think it’s depends on the people who is there haha

Great hostel. We had the private 3 bed room with our own bathroom. The room was as expected for the price and was therefore perfectly fine. Ofcourse things could be a little cleaner and some things added would increase the overall experience. However for the price it was great!

This is the third time I stay at this hostel. It is a wonderful place and it gets better . It is a very romantic wooden building and the location is excellent. Nicely decorated, warm atmosphere, very clean, great facilities. The best is the people. So kind ,so helpful, absolutely adorable, a great team. Many thanks to Dennis , to Theodor and all of you.

The guys at the reception were really friendly and provided us with all the necessary information. We felt great when one of the staff members accompanied us to our room and carried our bag, while another, Todor, arranged a taxi to the Rila Monastery. We also appreciated the free luggage storage.

I recently stayed at Hostel Mostel and had a truly great experience. For the price, the quality of service and accommodation was outstanding — definitely one of the best value-for-money hostels I’ve stayed at. The location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Sofia, making it incredibly easy to walk to all the main attractions, restaurants, and public transport stations. The staff were exceptionally friendly, always smiling, and ready to help with anything I needed. I asked for a few extras during my stay — like a hairdryer and an extra towel — and they were provided without any hesitation. Their warm and helpful attitude really made a difference in my stay. Another thing I appreciated was the atmosphere among the other guests. Most of the people staying there were respectful, easygoing, and sociable, which added to the overall comfort of the place. It felt like a welcoming and safe environment. Security-wise, the hostel is very reliable. There’s a secure area where you can leave your luggage even after check-out, which was a huge plus since my flight was later in the evening. This allowed me to explore the city freely without dragging my suitcase around. They were also very accommodating with early check-in and late check-out requests. I arrived earlier than expected and they did their best to make my wait as comfortable as possible, which I really appreciated. All in all, I didn’t face any real issues during my stay. The hostel offers everything you’d expect and more. If you’re visiting Sofia and looking for a comfortable, safe, and affordable place to stay with kind people and excellent service, I would absolutely recommend Hostel Mostel.

The staff at Hostel Mostel were impeccable, with nothing bad to say about them. However, the guests who were there were very rare, but the hostel is not to blame.

We were a bit dissapointed: our room didn't locate at the hostel, but 600m away from it. Also there was a lot of long dark hair in the bed and the cleaner took my umbrella (that was returned briefly after I called the reception.)
