We arrived after dark which made it a bit of a task to find the sheperds hut but the peaceful isolation made up for it along with the well designed layout of the hut. We've stayed in bigger huts but there's nothing really missing from Clover, we didn't even worry that there was no TV. In fact it was great to have a couple of nights without it. We saw a great sunrise so a stay in the summer would be great, in fact we will be looking for a return visit in the warmer months to make use of the outdoor facilities.

Lovely bathroom and lots of storage. Really liked how the outside eating area felt private and there was a fire pit and barbecue. The hob and oven are a great feature that the booking.com listing doesn’t make obvious. Waking up to open countryside and throwing open the double doors was fantastic.

A perfect location for a peaceful retreat! Well equipped, comfortable hut surrounded by a meadow and the sound of deer rutting in the distance. Within walking distance of the village for shops, pubs, restuarants and bakeries. Will definitely be returning!
