Tuki is spectacular! We loved the forever views with the mist coming and going and even birds we've never seen before flirting with the rain that was spilling into the pond in front of our beautiful and spacious, private solid bluestone cottage which had an open stone fireplace that burnt hot the whole cold stormy wet weekend. It was gorgeous! We walked into the warm and cosy barn style restaurant on arrival and were welcomed with a mulled wine from a pot sitting next to the roaring warm round stone fireplace from the wonderful welcoming owners Robert and Jan and again when we arrived for dinner by the wonderful chef Julian who also prepared and brought out the most delicious meals as well! Seriously if you want a romantic weekend away or just to relax and have some quiet or rent a couple of these cottages with friends and eat some beautiful food with serene scenery then this is the place. I think all seasons here would be amazing so we must come back!

I absolutely loved the owners – they were so welcoming and friendly. I really appreciate places that allow you to bring your fur babies along. It shows that the owners are animal lovers too. It’s rare to find pet-friendly spots like this, and it makes all the difference.
