A comfortable, cute cottage (surprisingly spacious),surrounded by beautiful flowers in a lovely courtyard, where you can sit at a picnic table and enjoy refreshments. The view opposite is the Victorian wall with an alleyway into the most stunning grounds, woodland walk, stream and lake. The grounds have numerous seats to enjoy the view to the Cheviots. Mellerstain staff were friendly and quick to reply to my email questions. Such a peaceful place - can recommend!

Cottage located in courtyard beside stately home. Grounds ideal for dog walking. Very well kept land and gardens. A true gem for a restful break.

Free unlimited access to the grounds, gardens, parkland and woodland on the Mellerstain estate, this was an amazing feature of the property which we made good use of and the dog loved it

Great location, beautiful walks in the grounds of the estate, wildlife everywhere, silence! No traffic sounds. The Clock house was well equipped and had comfortable beds.
