We were made so welcome by the staff & the character of the pub was charming. The food was delicious too with a fantastic choice for breakfast too.

The pub is in an incredible location and has a wonderful atmosphere.it is everything a cosy country pub should be , full of character and charm I have tried the award winning pies before and they were just as good this time! Excellent session ales too

What a magical place to stay. So much history, friendly and welcoming staff, amazing food, absolute peace and quiet, beautiful walks, warm and comfortable rooms. Enjoying dinner by the fire, chatting with fellow guests and the Saturday sing-a-long all added to a memorable experience. We hope we can return one day soon. Thank you so much for your hospitality, especially Ed and Sarah.
