These usually take place at weekends, which may result in the hotel being a little noisier and busier than normal.Please note that Herriots House rooms are situated in the manor house next door to the hotel.Please note that the elevator will be unavailable from 24/06/2025 to 01/09/2025. During this period, guests must use the stairs.

Location, accessibility, size, peace and quiet, restaurant. Check in was easy, off road parking.

The location is great for the station & the town centre! And also for accessing the canal towpath for some lovely walks

The room was lovely, very clean, as was the bathroom, and a really good bed. The wall based tv was at a perfect height, not like in most hotels where you get a stiff neck if you try and watch tv. And the window actually opened, a rare thing these days. The shower was wonderful.
