The location is great, short drive from Skibbereen. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and clean. The host Christine was very friendly and helpful, she made sure we felt very welcome. I would book this cottage again with my next visit.

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables. The location was so peaceful and relaxing. The house was very comfortable with everything you would need for a stay. The log burning stove was brilliant and created the cosiest atmosphere for quiet relaxation. The outdoor space with bench was perfect for a morning coffee surrounded by birdsong. Christine kindly checked on us to ensure everything was OK and things couldn't have gone smoother. A short drive to the coast and many eateries and venues with live music, it made for a fabulous weekend stay.

This cosy, modern house was all we could have wished for. Christine and Ken, owners/hosts, very helpful and friendly. A really nice touch was necessary items of food and drink provided for our arrival, Everything in and about the house was tasteful, in perfect condition and clean, a hand-written welcome note a very nice, friendly gesture. A lovely surprise, finally, was Christine bringing us warm. home-made scones, butter and bramble jam just before we departed. A great little 'leaving present'. Although a little off the beaten track, (this is, after all, rural West Cork!) I really would recommend this property - an absolute joy, both the house and the owners.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Stables. The location is so beautiful. Accommodation very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
