The location was perfect. 10 minutes walk from the bus stop & 5mins walk to bars, restaurants & the port. Lia, was an amazing host. She couldn't do enough for us. A light breakfast was available each morning on at no extra cost. The Kastro Hotel is a magical place to stay. We will be back!

We loved the ambiance thanks to the abundance of plants, flowers and tasteful decor. We had a studio with a large seating area outside.. It's an old building (I think) but well maintained and very pretty. It's a small boutique hotel and what it offers is an intimate, pretty space to enjoy and a lovely roof area where you can relax on the loungers. A small self-service breakfast is available to enjoy in the floral passageway. Pretty fairy lights and background music complete the picture. Thank you Lia and your lovely unobtrusive staff who were so helpful. Very Instagram-able!!

Hotel Kastro is walking distance from the ferry, and on the flat. A big plus! No hills or steps to get there. The room was immaculate. The windows are double glazed, so it was very quiet and good sleeping temperature, without needing the air con. Beautiful and picturesque, quiet hotel. The owner was very helpful especially when we worried our taxi might not come! Lovely terrace on the roof for relaxation.
