Situated strategically on a farm between Vik and the Reynisfjara beach Skammidalur Guesthouse offered a good value for money in an otherwise insanely expensive region. Check-in and check-out were contactless and easy. The rooms were fine, comfy and clean. Shared bathrooms were not an issue, as there were two for a total of four rooms. The kitchen came in handy in the morning.

Clean n well-kept. Kitchen is big enough for 11 us to cook n have our dinner n breakfast. Biscuits n cereal, coffee n tea are generously given.

Good location, great shared kitchen and very clean . Only 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets so worked well. Would definitely recommend.
