It is a lovely place with a perfect pool, close to the beach and all the restaurants in Skala. The staff and owners of the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay truly enjoyable.

We booked this accommodation very last minute and saw it had mixed reviews. We were exceptionally pleasantly surprised. The new owners couldn't have been more attentive, marrying the perfect blend of friendliness and professionalism. We had room 209 and although this room is due to be renovated in the next wave of improvements, we loved it anyway! The bed was super comfortable, the linen good quality. We had a full sized fridge, a TV (we didn't use this - but if we'd wanted to, it was nice to have) a wide balcony to dry our beach towels etc, great air con and a super view over the pool and sea. The smaller balcony at the front from which to enjoy the views, was small but still big enough for a table and two chairs! We loved it. The bathroom was tired, but as said will be renovated this winter, but it was spotlessly clean and amply big enough. The location was superb! On the edge of town it was quiet, but really easy to get into the midst of everything within a few minutes walk. The beach was fab! A short walk along a rickety path and passing Roman ruins or a slightly longer walk on a sure footed path. Too many lovely restaurants to mention - don't think you can go far wrong with any or them, and the Captains Bar is a must visit for friendly, entertaining service and the most delicious cocktails! The pool at La Skala Vista is fabulous! Spotlessly clean, great sunbeds and super luxurious pool towels free to use from reception! An added bonus was the private shower facilities which are free to use on check out day. This enabled us to thoroughly enjoy our last day and still fly home feeling clean and refreshed. We couldn't recommend this place more highly! Thank you Monica and Costa - you're doing a fabulous job and we can't wait to visit again and see all your dreams and plans for your hotel, unfold!

The hotel was in a prime position close to a lovely beach and the centre of Skala village. The owners Monica and her husband and Katania on reception were so friendly and helpful. It was quiet and very clean. Nice breakfast.
