The Halkidio House is a fantastic place to stay in central southern Crete. The house is nice, confortable, well furnished, the pool is quite small but lovely, the dining areas near the pool and on the roof terrace (where the view is beautiful) are very convenient. The landlords are nice and reactive, and Sivas is a lovely Cretan village with its traditionnal tavernas at walking distance. The beautiful beaches of Matala, Kommos and Kalamaki are at short driving distances. It's definitely a beautiful place where we'd love to come back !

Lovely villa, attractive, very clean and has everything you could need. The view from the rooftop terrace is stunning and the village is pretty with nice, friendly restaurants.

Halkidio House is lovely - it looks to be an old house that has been fully modernised and well decorated. We had no problems with the WiFi - it all worked perfectly, The air conditioning was great - we gave it a blast when it got a bit hot. We took a dip in the pool every morning and then took a cup of tea on to the roof-top to warm up and admire the amazing views. The BBQ area on the ground floor was clean and well equipped. The gated parking space was definitely an added bonus - easy to park the car and load/unload after a beach day. Great location for visiting the area - a very short distance to Matala and other beaches and sights. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, if you don't want to drive. Fantasic hosts with helpful and very friendly communication.

What a lovely place to stay! The pool and BBQ area is great for escaping the peak heat of the day, and the roof terrace gives you an amazing view of the stars at night (we happened to visit during the Perseid meteor shower).
