Excellent 2nd stay at Hempstead. The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant, spa and breakfast are excellent. Ideal location for exploring Kent or if going on to the continent by train or ferry.

The waiter who worked on 2nd June in the morning was very friendly and also engaged in conversation with my daughter, the housekeeping staff ( 2 ladies) who we met in the corridor was also very friendly too, the staff are very child friendly . I had a pleasant stay with my daughter ( I do wish we could have more time in the pool ) we had a morning swim 8-9am ,but an afternoon slot would also be helpful too .

This is an attractive country house hotel, well placed for touring northern Kent. Its rooms and public areas are lovely, well maintained with an airy restaurant and a variety of small lounges for relaxing with a drink. It has a good spa and the outside areas are well maintained. And, subject to what I say below, the staff are friendly and attentive.
