Close to train connection, across the street from excellent restaurant recommended by friendly front-desk staff. Good mattress. Desk staff permitted us to store our luggage after checkout so we could more easily visit the sites that day before our return to Tavira.

The location of this hotel was excellent. We had come back to Sintra to see the 3 palaces in town - we had done the Pena previously. Everything was clean, breakfast was adequate. It had a good variety but needed to be replenished more often. I have to give a BIG SHOUTOUT to Raphaella on the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful, giving us a map of the town, restaurant suggestions and directions to the various sites we wanted to visit. The hotel should value her attitude towards their customers. All in all, a pleasant stay at the Sintra Bliss.

Due to renovations, our booking was amended to Sintra Boutique Hotel, and all I can say is “Wow”. Super clean, beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed hotel, right in the centre of the historic town. We were walking distance to everything. The breakfasts were exceptional and included everything we could have desired - eggs, bacon, sautéed vegetables, a range of breads and pastries, fruit, great coffee and macarons! We were sad to leave.
