Very friendly and helpful staff provided us with detailed information about the stay. We received the keys at the hotel, which is a 5-minute walk from the apartments. The location is very good - the short walk to the Palace of Sintra takes 5-7 minutes, although most of the way you have to climb stairs. The apartment is very spacious, with cosy living zone and comfortable bed. There is enough place to park the car, that it is very important in Sintra.

Location was adjacent to railway station, we arrived by train from Lisbon, excellent access to facilities including transport links to the palaces. There were shops nearby including a small grocery store and numerous cafes and restaurants.
