How can you summarise the perfect stay?! From the moment we arrived at Ricardo’s beautiful home we felt completely relaxed. Ricardo made us feel incredibly welcome, he clearly loves hosting guests and this shows in each of the lovely little touches he added to our stay, it was beyond hotel quality. The house itself is its own special paradise, with a beautiful pool area and well maintained gardens surrounding. The delicious breakfast provided each day even included fruit and vegetables from his organic garden. Our advice would be to cut your time in Lisbon in half and instead stay twice as long at Ricardo’s and see more of Sintra - you won’t regret it. We look forward to coming back here.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotlessly clean. The gardens were beautiful. The swimming pool was very peaceful. Ricardo was a great host; very attentive and friendly. We loved meeting Brenda the dog. Breakfasts were great, very tasty and enjoyed having the fruit/veg grown in the garden. Would 100% recommend. No need for a car- was always super easy to get an Uber or Bolt into Lisbon or Sintra- both journeys took about 20 minutes- cost was around 10euros each way. It was nice to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city and go in when needed. There are really nice restaurants in Sintra, as well as the palace- definitely worth a visit. Ricardo recommended Incomum to eat in Sintra, which was the best meal of our entire stay.

Our stay was nothing short of perfect, largely due to the extraordinary efforts and dedication of Ricardo, who always ensured our needs were met and went out of his way to make sure we have the most pleasant stay possible. The place was absolutely spotless & pristine, making us feel incredibly comfortable and at home. The pool was a fantastic addition, offering a refreshing escape on a hot day. We also enjoy our evenings spent in the very well taken care of garden, with fireflies here and there which made the evenings even more enchanting. We wholehartedly recommend Ricardo's place for anyone seeking a stay where every detail is cared for, with a host who is genuinely invested in your comfort. We will definitely be back!
