A lovely hotel in a fantastic location, easy walking distance to the Marina; bus stop outside (including the Big Bus yellow line), and MTR station on the next junction down. A ten minute walk to the iconic Raffles hotel, and surrounded by plenty of places to eat. An older style hotel inside, it has large rooms and a wonderful feeling of space, which we prefer to the more modern type hotels. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and service is great.

Arrived at 4.15pm and there was a long queue at check in but could see that the front desk staff were really trying their best. Was greeted by a very friendly and efficient Santhi. Asked for a little later check out and was granted immediately! Thank you for the lovely gesture. Room was ready with lights and aircon on upon check in. Very clean and cosy room. 7-11 within the hotel premises and surrounded by lots of food options. Sheltered walkway to the train station (Bencoolen) so no fear if it rains. Did not use the pool but saw many families enjoying themselves there. It is not a big pool though.
