We were welcomed at Villa Il Tollino by the lovely Giancarlo and Gabriella. Although we could not speak Italian and they could not speak English, the communication was easy with Google Translate. The villa has an amazing view of the olive grove and the beautiful Tuscan landscape. We were there to write a novel and we sure did with such a romantic environment. Gabriella baked a delicous pizza and a cake for us while we were staying there. Giancarlo and Gabriella even invited us for a wine tasting at a neighbour’s house: what more could you want? The house had a good atmosphere and it was very cosy and the neighbourhood quiet. We often ate at the villa and there could be more space to cook (there was little worktop), but it was enough to prepare good meals. With a car everything is very close (to supermarkets, restaurants, villages, etc), and you can walk to the village Scrofiano. We loved our stay and will visit very soon again, many thanks Giancarlo and Gabriella!

A very nice house with a great view. Very friendly welcome by the father and mother of the owner. A simple kitchen, but complete, with enough kitchenware I had informed about a review in which they mentioned a securety camera. They where covered during our stay.
