Hotel needs renovating and the rooms need new furniture . The hotel has a shabby appearance once passed reception! I received a nice friendly welcome to the hotel by the receptionist. The location is great ,right in the town center. Unfortunately, I can't add more positivity to the hotel . Reception is clean and looks quite modern. Their are about 7 stairs to go up from the reception to the lift to reach the rooms. The lift was so small ,carpet worn and dirty.. I stayed on the 5th floor, but the lift only went up to the 4th floor ,then i had to go up more stairs up to the 5th floor. My room was basic ,with outdated furniture and no A/C . Bathroom is beyond a joke , so small you can hardly fit inside ,it would be useless for someone with mobility issues. Shower curtain didn't reach to the floor, so it flooded the bathroom floor with each shower it was extremely dangerous, especially in such a tight space to maneuver. When I entered the bathroom, I was disgusted with what I found on the shelf above the sink. It was full of hair , someone had obviously been shaving and it hadn't been cleaned, repulsive!! Room had a kettle and mini fridge.
