Hello old world charm! It’s old and rustic - all creaky wooden floors and windows from last century. But my goodness, it’s lovely! Walking through to an eating area can easily take half an hour - not because of distance, but because there’s every manor of antique and delight on the way! Lovely staff, breakfast befitting the gods (esp the fruit salad), and a real reverence to yesteryear. And also quite walkable to the groot-drakenstein terminal of the wine tram! This isn’t the place for airs and graces, mind - world travellers will feel underwhelmed at the lack of charging points and placements of sockets. But - get over it, and embrace the amazing ambience and throwback vibe!
