Fabulous, comfortable property and wonderful host. The property was beautiful - loved the open fireplace with firewood replenished daily (perfect given the cool, wet weather - we didn’t want to leave our cottage). Gayle was a wonderful and kind host.

We cannot fault our stay at Plaisir - from the moment you arrive, the setting and property are absolutely breathtaking. We had the pleasure of being hosted by Marc, who made us feel like we were at home from the minute we had arrived. He had gone above and beyond to accommodate our check in and check out times, offered such an attentive service with wine tastings and our visits to the cafe and shop as well as just general all-round warmth and hospitality. The entire team at Plaisir are friendly and knowledgeable and a huge asset to this stunning winery - they even remembered our coffee orders! We are already planning our next visit. A wholehearted thank you from us all!

I had the opportunity to visit the Plaisir Wine Estate last year as part of the wine tram experience. I fell in love with it then. This year I had the opportunity to go back for a wedding and stay over. We booked a basic king room but when we arrived we were informed by our host, Marc, that we had been upgraded to the Manor Suite. WOW and WOW. Have you ever had that feeling that you are a premier league footballer or have just won the lottery? Me neither, but that was exactly how I felt when seeing the Manor Suite. Imaging a 2 bed house with a roaring fire set in acres of wine land. It was am amazing place and if you have the opportunity, well worth booking. But the accommodation was only part of the experience that made the trip special. Our host Marc was a one in 10 billon kinda guy that really couldn't do enough to help you. He even picked us up in the morning and took us for a personal wine tasting tour. It was one of those once in a life time experiences where you are convinced they have you confused with someone else. but the people at Plaisir were just so nice and friendly, its just the Plaisir way. Highly recommend staying at Plaisir and if you have the opportunity, spoil yourself with the Manor Suite
