The staff were very kind and loving, breakfast was the best we had- home made! The area was beautiful, pleset and relaxing, the room was clean, with a book guide to the area and welcome treats from the owners. Our favorite place in 3 weeks of traveling in Portugal. Highly recommend!

Quinta das Piteiras is a wonderful find and I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s such a beautiful b&b with everything you could need as a solo traveller, couple or family looking for a getaway out of the hustle and bustle. The property is exceptionally looked after by Roberto & Martha who are the most gracious hosts. The pool was great way to relax and cool down after a hot day of exploring the local area. I will be recommending to all my friends and family when in Portugal!

Had one of our most enjoyable walking holidays staying with Martha and Roberto. We knew the breakfasts would be good but they were even better than expected with much to choose from. We particularly enjoyed all the home made dishes, jams and watching the very amusing and healthy looking providers of fresh eggs scratching around while we ate breakfast on the sunny terrace. Roberto and Martha's happy and friendly dispositions added greatly to our enjoyment and we appreciated all his local knowledge and advice regarding our expeditions. We would love to return.

We had a truly wonderful stay with Martha and Roberto. Their Quinta is exceptional in every way – beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and full of charm. The onsite parking made things easy, and the location is ideal – just a short 10-minute walk from the town centre, yet peacefully tucked away in a tranquil setting. The swimming pool is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the breakfast each morning was simply amazing – fresh, generous, and served with great care. What truly made our stay special, however, were the hosts themselves. Martha and Roberto are warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful – they made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Without a doubt, this was the best accommodation we experienced during our trip to Portugal – we only wish we could have stayed longer!
