We had an absolutely fantastic three days at Orange Grove Residence. It truly exceeded our expectations and even outshines many 5-star hotels we’ve stayed in. The apartments are spacious and beautifully laid out, with super comfortable beds, excellent water pressure in the bathrooms, and four balconies, so you can soak up the sun at any time of day. Each apartment also has its own outdoor space by the pool, perfect for relaxing with a drink in the evening. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and the dedicated office/lounge area was a great spot for getting some work done. Our kids had a wonderful time too. Felip has some large outdoor games, and the two swimming pools were a big hit. The photos online don’t actually do the place justice, it’s incredibly well-equipped and thoughtfully designed. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and are already planning to return with friends. We also really enjoyed exploring the area; Silves is a charming town, and you can reach the coast in just 25–30 minutes.

The house is located on an orange farm, about a 7-minute drive from Silves, and consists of six rental apartments. The entrance is through automatic gates. There are surveillance cameras at the gate and near the house. The area is well-maintained, with a gardener taking care of the plants around the house. The house itself is situated on an elevated area, offering a fantastic view from the windows and the terrace in front of the apartments. On the other side of the building, the floor beneath the apartments is used for parking. Access to and from the parking area is easy, and there is a Type 2 EV charger (up to 4 kW), payment by arrangement. We were greeted by the host, Sr. Filipe, who gave us a tour of the property and generously presented us with a variety of treats, including fresh oranges from the farm. The host left the best impression. He lives on-site, is available via WhatsApp or phone, and is always ready to help if you need anything. The apartments are two-story. Outside the entrance, there’s a small table and lounge chairs. Inside, the first floor has a kitchen-living room equipped with everything you need: a large TV, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, two types of coffee machines, a kettle, and other appliances and plenty of tableware. There’s also a bathroom and a small room with a sofa, a work desk, a TV, and a balcony. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and balcony. There are wardrobes, hangers, full-length mirrors, a hairdryer, an iron with an ironing board — everything necessary. Every room has air conditioning, and the bathrooms have built-in heaters above the doors. The building is new, as is all the furniture and appliances. The apartment was very clean. As far as I understood, cleaning services by a maid are available upon request during the stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience — the place, the apartments, and the host were all fantastic. We had a lovely stay of a week at the Orange Grove. The accommodation was excellent and very modern. The host was very attentive and was keen to ensure our stay was very comfortable. The location was very quiet being a few km outside of Silves but easily accessible by car.
