An excellent property, in the old town of Silves, very close to the castle and cathedral, and restaurants. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. The roof terrace was a real bonus. The English owner could not have been more helpful. Free parking in the road. A couple of things to be aware of. The roads in the old part of Silves are narrow, so hire a small car. Also probably best to avoid if infirm. The shortish walk to the river where many of the facilities are is steep, as are the steps up to the roof terrace. Apart from this, I thoroughly recommend this property.

Casa Dolce is centrally located in the old town. It's an old, very narrow house that has been sensitively and skillfully renovated. The hostess, Sally, has thought of everything a guest could need. From umbrellas to mosquito repellent, everything is there. The well-equipped kitchen includes not only plenty of spices but also a well-stocked refrigerator. The highlight is the beautiful roof terrace with its many plants. Sally is always available via WhatsApp and is very friendly and helpful.

The house is exceptionally well decorated and stocked with more than just essentials. The hostess was super helpful, too! I love the roof terrace! Everything is clean and in great condition, with all of the appliances you can think of. My personal favourite being the coffee machine. The street is quaint and quiet all the time with a short walking distance to the centre of Silves.
