It was ideally located for our visit with,our daughter in the village. This was basic accommodation providing good value for your money.

The room was well presented, in great decorative order with everything I needed. The bed was a good size and very comfortable. I had a great night’s sleep. The pub had a really good atmosphere and the landlady was very friendly and ran a very efficient operation. My meal arrived in good time, was freshly cooked and piping hot.

We had a small double room which was perfectly adequate for our one night stay . The room , linens, bathroom etc were spotless . We ate in the cosy bar in the evening and breakfast in the morning was very good . The bar is large , modern & cosy and it was a nice space to be in . Don’t worry about being over a pub it wasn’t at all noisy ( Thursday night ) , we had a great sleep . You have access through a separate entrance so can come & go as you please . We felt this was very good value and we enjoyed our stay . Thank you
