We had a family room upstairs. It was simple, but absolutely fine for our stay. Good strong air-conditioning! The staff were amazing. We arrived quite late on the first night and they were able to make us a delicious dinner for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also great! They have their own tuk-tuks so we were able to arrange return trips with them to climb both of the rocks (one at sunrise and one at sunset)! The pool is lovely and refreshing. You are a little bit far from the centre of town, but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Have been in Sri Lanka for a few weeks now. This resort is the nicest we have stayed at. The hosts/managers were exceptional. Could not do enough for you. Rooms clean and very well appointed. Hot water++ Brand new magnificent pool. Clear and cool. They sell beers at a good price. Breakfast included. Excellent. Had a couple of evening meals cooked by mother that was 10/10. They have a washing machine you can use. They even hung out my washing for me. Such a lovely young couple. Walking distance to a ton of restaurants if you want to eat out. They can arrange drivers for all of the must see sights, and there are plenty. We stayed 4 nights and were busy the entire time. This place is easily a 10/10. The riverside resort is family run and the family are lovely and helpful. They offer a tuk tuk service, laundry service and they also helped organise a safari for us. We decided to stay an extra night as we enjoyed the hotel so much. The owners offered us dinner for a small price each night and the food was really good. The pool area is perfect as there is shade and loungers in the sun. We had lots of questions but the owner was fantastic in responding via WhatsApp which we appreciated.
