Beautiful property. Felt both homely and also like a bit of a treat. Rooms were massive, pool was lovely, good location with walking distance to good restaurants, cafes etc. breakfast was excellent each morning and the staff were very helpful and organised anything we needed with no fuss. Easy to get a tuk tuk to the main Sigiriya attractions (Lion’s rock nice and close).

After a bad experience at another hotel, we booked a last-minute stay at “Il Frangipane”. This hotel definitely made our stay in Sigiriya worth it. Super welcoming and helpful staff, two amazing swimming pools, spacious and clean rooms, great breakfast and a good location. This was our last location in Sri Lanka, a great conclusion of our trip! Wish we could stay longer.

Great location to explore Sigiriya. Walking distance to restaurants and sightseeing spots. Staff is very nice and helpful. Super clean and relaxing pool area and garden. Breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious. Would book again when visiting Sigiriya area.

The hotel, gardens and pool are lovely, staff friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Very good and plentiful breakfast, pool towels provided. Location pretty good with selection of restaurants literally next door all reasonable and serving good food.
