Please note that driver's accommodation is available for USD 10 per night.Please note that a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be charged from the credit card (Visa or Mastercard) within 30 days of arrival. The balance has to be settled at the lodge in cash (USD, Euro or Sri Lankan Rupees), as the property does not accept card payment, or we shall collect the balance payment from your card on your arrival or 7 days before your arrival date from the head office.Please note that the property can arrange for a pick-up from Sigiriya or an intermediate point at an additional cost of USD 7 for one way.Please note that the property recommends that the guests arrive before dark (6:00 p.m.) and use an elevated vehicle as the last stretch of the road is bumpy.Please note that by making a reservation, you would be entering a wildlife area and staying on an unfenced property. The stay or tours conducted might bring you into contact with or vicinity of wild animals (including snakes, spiders, wild boars, elephants, etc.). Back of Beyond staff members, associates, and/or agents cannot be held liable for any encounters involving the behavior of wild animals. The stay and entry into the wildlife area and Back of Beyond are at your own risk and responsibility.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The immersive experience in the nature was great, we slept on a house tree with monkeys, birds and animals all around. Definitely a unique experience for nature lovers. Food was also great

Back of Beyond is a little piece of heaven. The staff is absolutely wonderful (among them the naturalist Induwara, who is not only incredibly nice, but also clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about nature). The treehouse is very well equipped, and it offers the most unique experience: a full immersion in the jungle. Bonus: the food was delicious. We really appreciated the way everything is organized around respecting the environment at Back of Beyond, and we loved all the proposed activities, such as loris spotting and safari, where we had fun and learned a lot. Very, very highly recommend!

Beautiful location. Nice to be surrounded by nature. Staff were lovely and couldnt do more to help and drive us down the longgg dirt track to the resort and arrange trips. Food was absolutely delicious!

A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience! Being so close to nature was incredibly refreshing. The design of the Boulder Houses is thoughtfully done—you genuinely feel like you’re sleeping within nature itself. So peaceful, so green, and so serene. The hosts were also exceptionally warm and welcoming, making the stay even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature.
