Please note that driver's accommodation is available for USD 10 per night.Please note that a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be charged from the credit card (Visa or Mastercard) within 30 days of arrival. Please note that a 3% fee will be charged on all credit card payments. The balance has to be settled at the lodge in cash (USD, Euro or Sri Lankan Rupees), as the property does not accept card payment, or we shall collect the balance payment from your card on your arrival or 7 days before your arrival date from the head office.Please note that the property can arrange for a pick-up from Sigiriya or an intermediate point at an additional cost of USD 7 for one way.Please note that the property recommends that the guests arrive before dark (6:00 p.m.) and use an elevated vehicle as the last stretch of the road is bumpy.Please note that by making a reservation, you would be entering a wildlife area and staying on an unfenced property. The stay or tours conducted might bring you into contact with or vicinity of wild animals (including snakes, spiders, wild boars, elephants, etc.). Back of Beyond staff members, associates, and/or agents cannot be held liable for any encounters involving the behavior of wild animals. The stay and entry into the wildlife area and Back of Beyond are at your own risk and responsibility.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience! Being so close to nature was incredibly refreshing. The design of the Boulder Houses is thoughtfully done—you genuinely feel like you’re sleeping within nature itself. So peaceful, so green, and so serene. The hosts were also exceptionally warm and welcoming, making the stay even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature.

Its a really interesting option to stay in central Sri Lanka. You are literally living in the middle of jungle. A lot of nature sounds around you. Unique place.

A true experience to sleep right in the middle of the jungle. You would most probably need to be picked up 2kms from the house as the last bit of the road is very rough and you need a 4x4.

I loved the location, being far inside the wilderness. The boulder house we stayed in was very spacious and comfy and gave us an exceptional experience sleeping so close to nature. They had a private open shower in nature and provided hot water, which was amazing given that it was a bit chilly during our stay. The food was exceptionally tasty, and great service, and everyone was extremely welcoming and lovely and enthusiastic to show us around.
