Alexia “Beautiful pension in the heart of the UNESCO old town”

- Location: Sighișoara has an old town on the hill, and this pension is located in this beautiful old town. It’s location is perfect, as it is both extremely close to the UNESCO clock tower (less than 1 min walk, visible from the entrance of the pension) and also simultaneously tucked away from the main square (and therefore quiet at night). - Facilities: Our room was spacious, has an included cot if needed, and a good bathroom with a powerful shower (ideal after a hot summers day exploring the town). The decoration of the entire pension including our room was beautiful, and really added to our medieval town experience! The pension also have a restaurant which can make breakfast easy, and the staff went out of their way to be accomodating to our early morning starts. - Communication/Staff: Simina, who runs the pension, was extremely communicative and supportive particularly as we had difficulties navigating our bus route out of Sighișoara. She communicated via booking.com messages before our arrival, and then also sat down with us when we checked in to help explain the local bus system and websites we could use. Thanks to her, we were able to make a bus to Brașov the day we left with no problems - we could not have done this without her kind assistance.

The Pensiune is beautifully situated for everything in Sighisoara. Our room was just lovely, old beams and striking decor and amazing views over the town and up at the Citadel.
