Hotel Overview

Maribel is Sierra Nevada’s alpine style chalet, with a mix of high-altitude fun both on and off the piste for families, friends, and winter sports enthusiasts.
We’re a sophisticated ski-in/ski-out lifestyle hotel, located at 2,250 metres, with direct access to the Maribel and Águila, offering 29 alpine-inspired rooms and suites, including the signature Maribel Penthouse Suite. With us, guests can enjoy the perfect plan on and off the pistes, with a compelling blend of sport, wellness, and dining.
Maribel’s lounge and bar, with a ski-in/ski-out outdoor terrace, promises a unique après ski atmosphere, while Maribel's restaurant provides a ‘dining club’ experience with an alpine flavour. There's even a Nordic-inspired spa where guests can rest their weary muscles after a day on the slopes and unwind under the stars.

Maribel’s perfectly groomed guest rooms and suites, most with balconies and panoramic views to the piste, each have playful monikers like Maricarmen or Marisol. Our duplex suites are creatively designed for those who prefer to travel with their family or a small group of friends. Feel immediately at home, with warm, welcoming, alpine-inspired interiors, featuring Finnish wood, leather furniture, faux-fur throws, plush king beds, seating areas, floor-to-ceiling wardrobes for your ski kit, in room tech like Chromecast Smart TVs and even heated wooden floors. Indulgent bathrooms boast rain-fall showers, spa baths, Natura Bissé toiletries and Maribel's signature bathrobes and slippers.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a sweeping elliptical staircase that defines the buzzing hotel lobby. The open-plan, interconnected library, bar, and lounge areas merge into a single, welcoming space. The outdoor terrace, a sun-kissed deck with access to the Maribel and Aguila slopes, will be a favourite for indulgent hot chocolate and sundowners, making the perfect accompaniment to experiencing the golden hour. Maribel's restaurant will serve hearty dishes and mountain favourites in a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere until late at night. Stevani & Silva are the creative forces behind the stand-out decoration of Maribel's bar and restaurant. Expect a bold mix of dark and warm tones, sensual textures like velvet, and show-stealing design details like the gold leaf bar, the restaurant’s snake-shaped sofa, and hanging fireplaces. Maribel's is the perfect place to enjoy a dinner with a mountain view.
We’ve created the ultimate ski and snow destination in Sierra Nevada. With direct access to the pistes, Maribel, taking its name from the adjacent ski run of the same name, is 50 metres from the chairlift at Parador No. 1 and just a few metres from its sister hotel, El Lodge. Maribel's is prominently located in the ski village of the Sierra Nevada national park, which includes one of the most extensive ski areas in southern Europe. 110 km of skiable slopes are distributed over 131 runs, including the highest slope in the Iberian Peninsula at an altitude of 3,400 metres. For freestyle boarders and skiers, there’s the Snow Park, while there are also trails dedicated to cross country skiing.
Zoom down in style and comfort with kit from our in-house ski hire boutique. Then after a day of satisfying your thirst for adrenalin, rest your weary muscles in our intimate spa, with two treatment rooms, Turkish steam room, sauna, as well as a large hot tub out on the deck, where you can unwind under the stars.
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is a 45-minute transfer from Granada International Airport and just 2 hours from Malaga International Airport and Marbella.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The location for skiing is excellent. The hotel facilities including the spa are exceptional. The food in the restaurant is of a high standard and the staff is courteous and makes you feel at home. Highly recommended.

the hotel felt really luxurious, in spite of being in Sierra Nevada if you know what i mean )) it's up at the top of the village, so you're away from all the chaos and whenever you need a lift, the hotel immediately sends a minivan to either bring you down to the village or up back to the hotel. staff was extremely nice and helpful, views from the restaurant, gorgeous views of the mountain from the outdoor terrace with its swimming pool and sauna (sauna seemed to not hold the temperature though), very good breakfast, decent champagne at breakfast bar, good level of cooking in the restaurant. overall though the hotel isn't cheap, it felt like it's worth that money, we felt pampered and there was a feeling of generosity around. you pay a lot for the room, but then a lot of things are simply included. also stunning sunsets on the Lodge's terrace with dj's set, just next door and a playroom for kids in the Lodge that can be used by Maribel's guests. tip for people who travel with kids and think of getting a duplex: the two levels of duplex are just tiny and the second level has no door, you can probably consider booking two standard rooms, as all their rooms seem to go in 2 joined by a tiny corridor. that way kids just have their room, parents have theirs and you're just next door to each other.
