The fine print
Each year on July 2 and August 16, the Palio di Siena traditional horse race takes place. During the Palio, Hotel La Perla only accepts reservations for a minimum 4-night stay.
During this time, for late cancellations or no-shows, the hotel will charge your credit card for the amount of the 1st night. Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The view of the cathedral out my windows. I had the room where you had to climb the narrow spiral staircase. The room was small but had big windows and lots of light. Staff were very helpful. Towels were thin cotton but worked quite well. Photo is the view at night.
