A beautiful place with great spacious rooms but the best parts were the pool and people! The breakfast was wonderful, delivered each morning to your balcony and then quickly cleared away! THey also had a free tuktuk service into town of an evening!

You know as you drive into a hotel and you’re assessing whether it is the same as advertised? This place looks exactly like the pictures! Cute little bungalows amongst the trees surrounding a pool. Such a delight. We stayed just under a week at Angkor Heart Bungalow. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony most days which was very affordable at $5USD per person and a with a nice selection of choices. We had a few tours we wanted to do and the hotel staff were able to organise these for us including a trip up the mountain to go swimming at Kulen Mountain Waterfall. Each night when we went into town they had a free Tuktuk service to take us. The property is about 3/4 mins drive out of town so this was very convenient. Having said that, it’s opposite the Phare circus so we just walked across the road to see that and there is little in the way of night time noise so the sacrifice of a short drive into town was quiet nights. The room was lovely. The bathroom was beautiful. Good a/c and a cheap mini bar had us very comfortable. The pool was a lovely warm temperature but still refreshing a cool at the end of the day and a fan was provided on the balcony to keep cool. The hotel has a cheap pay by the kg laundry service so we took full advantage of that. We decided to stay an extra night in Siem reap and hotel easily accommodated us at a reasonable rate. All in all a wonderful stay. Thank you to all the Angkor Heart staff for making us feel so comfortable.

The Ankor Heart Private Bungalows are a true oasis amidst the bustling energy of Siem Reap. The bungalows are clean and it’s simply wonderful to have a private pool all to yourself. The hotel staff go above and beyond, always attentive, friendly and spoiling guests with thoughtful little touches. At times, it felt almost like having a personal butler service. We felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed and we are still amazed by the kindness and warmth of the people there. We wish the hotel staff all the best and hope for many guests who will appreciate their outstanding service as much as we did. All the best, Andrea & Matthias
