I had cycled 130 miles from Fareham in Hampshire and needed an overnight stay before heading back the following day. I arrived late and was cold and tired. My host met me at the door and quickly made me a large mug of warm tea. Just what i needed. The accommodation was homely and i was made to feel very welcome. I had a lovely hot bath before retiring to bed as an early morning start beckoned. I slept like a baby and left well rested and ready for my return journey.

The hot croissants were a nice touch. Access was very easy and it was very close to dinner venue and bus to return to the coast path

Local pubs nice and near serving good homecooked food . Lovely walk along the Byes into Sidmouth. Nice guest house, hosts were friendly and welcoming. Nice continental breakfast left out for us in the morning to help ourselves to, and comfortable rooms to stay in. Perfect for what we needed.
