Bed and Breakfast Overview

Located on Sidmouth’s seafront, the Dukes inn is nestled on the majestic sandstone cliffs which form part of the Jurassic Coast. It boasts free Wi-Fi access, a bar, and a restaurant. There is limited free onsite parking available.

From the inn, Jacob’s Ladder is less than 2 miles away. It leads to a viewing point of Jacob’s Ladder Beach and the entrance of Connaught Gardens. Sidmouth Golf Club is a short 5-minute car journey away and Beer Quarry Caves are also 16 minutes’ drive from the inn.

Got moved to hotel next door as only guest in Dukes. This is the Elizabeth and was lovely. I was also upgraded which was very good. Breakfast was also very good.

I have stayed here many times and it’s consistently excellent. Breakfast was wonderful, if a little pricey - but isn’t everything these days? Great shower.

Location - conveniently on the edge of town and across from the sea. Lovely comfy bed. Near lots of places to eat, as well as in their restaurant.
