Embang is a real gem of a place! Ayu is a great host, as are her family and it really does have a family feel, in all the right ways. The room is spacious, the view is spectacular, the bed is large and comfy and there’s a double veranda as well. The bathroom is very cute and semi open. There’s a huge bottle of water for guests to help themselves. The breakfast is a perfect way to start your day and there’s a great warung on site for lunch/dinner. The cherry on the cake for us was the massages that Ayu arranges for you. There is a little hut nestled in the fields, just a short stroll from your room, which is the perfect spot for relaxing. All good and value for money doesn’t even cover it. Embang was recommended to us and I’m so glad that it was!

The host Aiyu was very sweet and helpful,also organised a taxi for my onwards journey Breakfast was great with little added Balinese sweets on top Bed extremely comfortable Position on a great street,with wonderful views Good little massage hut in centre of property Peaceful place to stay

This is a great place to stay...the views are wonderful. If you can see them. We had very heavy rain when we were there but lucky it cleared a bit so we could enjoy the village. The accommodation is good, especially the location. But we have stayed in a lot of places around Bali. This place would be given a better review by me if it had a kettle and a fridge. There is no pool, so you need a few other things to compensate for the price. Breakfast was good. The other thing is they could have a top sheet. As there is only a duvee...and it got hot with just a fan. The other thing is the bathroom floor got very wet and slippery as the rain came into the bathroom. Open roof.

Honestly, for the price, there is nothing better in sidemen. The view was incredible. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was amazing and included. Not much to complain about, the bungalow had an open part but there was a fan and it was cool enough that it was great.
