If you can’t find peace here, you won’t find it anywhere else. Absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The river adds a calming, grounding dimension to the whole experience. The restaurant setting is stunning, the food is clean and delicious, and the massages were perfect,we ended up having one every day. Everything, including scooter hire, is reasonably priced. The neighbourhood is beautiful and adds to the overall charm. This place is more than just a stay—it’s an experience.

This is my second stay at Darmada. I intentionally came to Darmada for 3 nights to relax and reset from the crazy rushed western world we live in. After my 2nd night, I extended my stay to be at Darmada for the whole 6 nights I was in Bali. I love the energy, the calmness and the quiet at Darmada. The staff and owner are brilliant, and the guest rooms are gorgeous. Darmada is the perfect place for resting and taking that much needed break. Perfect spot for reading a book by the pool or river. There is a beautiful space for yoga/meditating if you are into that. I always enjoyed restaurant Melita by the river, the sound of the river is so calming. The food and coffee is nice too. Massages here are lovely and I also had a great facial. You can take a short 5-10minute walk to get to the Sidemen rice fields. A few mornings I got up early and went for a walk through the rice fields. Such a beautiful way to stay the day. Entry to rice field is 25000IDR ($2.50AUD). Darmada can pick you up from the airport for 550,000IDR ($55AUD). I will be back again ☺️
