The lovely man who managed the apartment stayed in touch with us from the moment of booking and throughout our trip to the apartment . Even waited for us at the gate. We were travelling by car and we were worried about the parking situation but had no troubles with that whatsoever. The car stayed in the yard with no issues, we even took it out and back inside with ease as we had a small trip planned the next day. The apartment is spotless. Absolutely impeccably clean and so SO spacious. The living room is very large with a sofa so comfortable that we are now looking to buy the same one at home! Although the TV isn't a smart one, there's plenty of TV channels to browse through as you relax before bed (if that's your cup of tea). The huge bedroom is such a flex honestly. It is so rare to stay somewhere where the actual room to sleep in is equally large as the rest of the place. The mattress was I believe memory foam and it was incredibly comfortable. After 20K+ steps each day, our backs needed a pleasant bed to rest and the apartment offered us a cloud to sleep on. We loved that. The kitchen as a room is also quite big with enough space to leave our bags there so we didn't have to stumble over them in the rest of the flat. The cooking area was a bit on the smaller side maybe but ideal to make a quick breakfast, noone travels to cook after all. You got a microwave, an electric hob, cutlery, dishes, cups etc. so it's fully equipped with everything. The bathroom was maybe on the smaller side? But definitely had plenty of room in the shower, had a shelf to leave your cosmetics and a hairdryer so you don't have to worry about that when packing. We were amazed at how easily this large space heated up. It's an old building so the ceilings are tall but the heating is superb. So well insulated too. A thermostat in the bedroom controls the temp. All the attractions of the old town are literally less than 5mins walk away.

The apartment was spacious, clean and had all the things we needed. It is located right in the centre of Sibiu which was great and we also had the possibility to leave our car parked free of charge. The host, Ioan, was very helpful with meeting us at the apartment and easy to communicate with as well. Thank you!
