Location is very convenient to the local JR station (about 20-25 minute walk from the Shinkansen station). Also very close to the bus that runs twice a day to and from the fox village (my main reason for visiting Shiroishi) with less than five minutes walk across the train line overpass. The Shiroishi castle is quite close and there are many local eateries nearby. Check in and check out were both very easy and the staff at the reception desk were all very nice.

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was easy to access, straight out of the train station. Specifics for staying there are actually provided when pressing the VOD button for the remote, which includes information on where the washing machine and dryers are, so that might be good to note.

Walking distance to the old castle, and right next to the station, can go to Sendai conveniently.
