A warm and cosy guesthouse off the beaten track, very kind and welcoming hosts (who also sent a forgotten item on to the next hotel for us). Nice mixture of Japanese and international guests. Great home made food - Japanese with a French twist. Two Japanese not baths.

Location is a little outside of Shika in a nice suburban area. The place feels really like a nice B&B as you would find it the UK or US. It was really comfortable and the classic big Japanese bath was a bliss. So was the breakfast - really enjoyable.
