The hotel is recently under new management. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room. She was open about the fact that the rooms still needed to be renovated but if we needed anything we only had to ask. We had dinner in the restaurant. Nicely set out and comfortable furniture. The meal was great, I don't know why but we were expecting pub grub but it was absolutely delicious as was the breakfast as we could ask for pretty much anything and was cooked to order. For me, one of the highlights was incredibly comfortable bed. Slept better than at home. We had to be off early the day we left and the owner offered to make us sandwiches. We felt they really cared and we wish them much luck for the future. We would definitely stay there again.

The location was great though weather and time limited opportunities for exploration. The staff were lovely and food was very good, with an excellent breakfast. The building is pleasantly quirky, with a warm atmosphere and it was a delight to lie in bed and hear the sea breathing.
