The property was beautiful and in a great location. It was silent, with wonderful walks available. The cottage was comfortable and wonderfully warm and there was a log fire with plenty of logs to burn, as well as simple instructions on how to light it. The fire aside, every room had at least one radiator so it was warm and very cozy which was perfect for a chilly January.

Everything was perfect with the cottage, we really enjoyed it, all the ammenities you could wish for plus milk in the fridge and a nice welcome pack- very thoughtful & plesant hosts, comfortable front room, lovely bedrooms and very clean too. nice, quiet and tranquil location with just sheep & swans for company- perfect.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location surrounded by rolling green countryside. Rooms are spacious and facilities are all you need. Hosts live next door if needed but didn’t really see them. The weather was freezing but the cottage was very cosy and warm inside. It’s also very clean. Would definitely stay there again as I was visiting parents in Sherborne.

The Old Orchard Cottage was lovely, very clean and extremely well equipped. The location was outstandingly beautiful and very peaceful. Our hosts were next door so available if required but never intrusive. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
