The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was good for an overnight stay and the continental breakfast was good value for money. Free parking in the centre of Sherborne was a real plus.

Location was ideal in the centre of town with its own car park. The room was clean and staff friendly in particular Tracy. Fair price and decent ale.

A great location with good parking and friendly staff. The room was large and clean, breakfast was tasty and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was good and we enjoyed our stay.

A perfect spot right in the middle of the town just a stones throw from the abbey. A really comfortable room, with everything you could want. Great food and friendly staff.

Our room was large and clean, warm. Unfortunately we had not realised that we were going to be on the top floor, But the staff were excellent and carried our luggage up for us. The location was excellent and of course the benefit of parking. The housekeeper, Molly was most helpful, and so cheerful,always greeted with a smile

We did not eat there but it's location was perfect for other venues nearby. Having a free carpark behind pub was good. Had an issue with key to room and toilet door was not always easy to open. On informing staff when we left, after 2 nights, they said they are in process of dealing with keys and locks and would look at bathroom door. Room 14 has lovely view over Abbey and rooftops.
