The hotel was lovely, perfect location for myself and my mum who attended a ghost hunt at the prison, 8 minute walk and we were there. Debbie the owner was so lovely and accommodating from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed a couple of drinks from the well stocked bar within the hotel. The breakfast the following day was incredible! Such good value for money and absolutely delicious 😋 we will definitely be returning.

Location perfect for local tourist sites . Car parking free outside in front garden and plenty of it.

Clean, welcoming, basic amenities in the room but absolutely adequate. Restaurant on site, bar on site, breakfast available - overall absolutely fine! Very friendly staff, onsite parking :)

Parking was conveniently right outside and was greeted warmly and checked in efficiently. Lovely biscuits and posh hot chocolate in our room which my son loved. Comfortable and warm room. Perfect location to walk into town or the prison, which we were there to visit. Quiet location so had a great sleep and the huge cooked breakfast was served by friendly staff, very tasty and great value. All in all it was perfect for us.
